In tonight’s What’s Working, a local non profit that provides housing for homeless veterans has a waiting list. Eagle’s Landing has provided apartments for veterans for the past 5 years. It’s located on Moffett Road. There are 38 apartments available for the men. News 5 talked with Army Veteran, Curtis Haskin. He has dealt with PTSD for years. He has been at Eagle’s Landing for the past 14 months and says he’s gotten help for his problems. He says “I am deeply grateful. Eagle’s Landing was here to help me.” Veterans can live at Eagle’s Landing for up to 2 years, while they work on getting a job or long-term housing. CEO of Volunteers of America Southeast, Wallace Davis, had a vision for the complex, because he wanted a place where veterans could get back on their feet. “I didn’t want to do a dorm.
