Lancaster Players host auditions for fall production | Features

Lancaster Community Players will host auditions for “Things My Mother Taught Me” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday-Tuesday, Aug. 28-29, in the Lancaster City Hall, 206 S. Madison St., in Council Chambers.

Eileen Dushek-Manthe will direct the play about a younger couple who move into their first place together.

Roles are available for a younger man and woman, as well as two women and two men, who will portray the parents. There also is a role available for the apartment building superintendent, which can be cast as a man or woman.

Scripts are available for checkout at Schreiner Memorial Library, 113 W. Elm St.

The play will take place Friday-Sunday, Oct. 27-29, at the Grantland Theatre, 218 S. Madison St.
