4 2820 Windwood Dr Ann Arbor , MI 48105 (844) 217-2848 Through my two year stay at Windemere, it deserves a 3 star rating. It served its purpose as a great starter apartment , low in cost compared to many other apartments, and a great location. However, there were always common issues of noisy neighbors, bugs coming in and out, AC mishaps, and breaking doors / cabinets. The response to these issues were always quick and got the job done. I would recommend it as a starter apartment but not long term. First, I want to say that the maintenance staff here is well-prepared, fast and top notch. They are reliable and generally awesome. As is the office staff. We have a very nice new washer/dryer combo in the the unit. The grounds are pleasant (though they have some drainage issues). And they do an excellent job of keeping the snow plowed in the winter. That being said, I have really, really mixed feelings about this complex. United Methodist Children’s Home announces move from Decatur site

After 144 years on sprawling grounds just outside Decatur, the United Methodist Children ’s Home is moving to a modest, single- story office complex in Tucker at 1967 Lakeside Parkway, Building 400, former site of the Cordon Bleu culinary school . The 50, 000 square foot structure will include office space for the home’s 60- person administrative staff and several hundred who volunteer every month. About 15,000 square feet will be carved out for the flea market, a UMCH fundraising staple since the 1940s. Perhaps the institution’s most profound symbol, a century-and-a-half old farm bell weighing 400 pounds and once owned by Coca Cola’s Asa Candler, will reside in the new building’s lobby. 5/3/2017 I've been here for almost a year. The Manager (Christy) is a person who will not let you come between her title and a dollar. SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE TENANTS, she just wants the money. EXAMPLES: *  Once someone tried to open my door, but it was locked & when I looked out, there was a young guy & girl w/dark clothing on just standing there acting as if they did nothing. *  Tenants on 2/3 floor throw their trash from balcony to ground floor which is in front of my balcony because they refuse to take it to the dumpster so Maintenance eventually picks it up and correctly disposes of it. *  The tenants throw trash (around the trash can) instead of putting it in the dumpster EVEN THOUGH THE DUMPSTERS EMPTY, yet management does nothing but make maintenance clean up after grown adults. *   The tenants who walk their pets allow them to (relieve themselves) ANYWHERE (on the concrete & the rocks) and they do not clean after their pet. * There were grown woman figh...

First off, I want to say I really like my apartment. I've been here about one month. I'm on a 15 month lease (cheaper than 12). I have a one bedroom apartment. The pricing is affordable. Couple of things to keep in mind if your looking for a one bedroom, and I am talking only about my own experiences. First, the staff upfront are nice. I did have an issue with my a/c unit over a weekend and in the evening, and I called the number and maintenance came right away and fixed the issue without a hitch (thank you!). Packages can be dropped off at front office and picked up. I found very few bugs, and I contacted the office to spray the apartment. Unfortunately, they don't have a plan to routinely pest spray the apartments, and you have to request to be put on the list (of which the service is available weekly). My unit does not have a washer/dryer (nor hookup), and there are decent laundry facilities , but no machines to give you change, and the machines don't take credit ca...
