I've lived in 3 different apartment complexes the last few years, and she has been the most attentive, kind and helpful. The downsides of this place are the washers and dryers. They eat my money often, but I call Carla to let her know and she gives me my quarters back the next day! The carpet in the hall is also pretty old and not too attractive, but they say they are going to replace it once the dogs (existing dogs were grandfathered in, they no longer accept dogs ) are no longer on the property. Who knows. The apartment, itself, has been pretty great. Nice carpet, huge rooms, good sized bathrooms , and nice walk in closet in the master. The appliances are kinda old, but they work just fine. The neighbors get kinda loud at times and I admit, I get pretty annoyed at that. There's not much anyone can do though. Some of the noise comes from the other apartment...

Their site visit to Stonewood Apartments off 28th Avenue was sparked by a video posted to YouTube last month that shows a former resident manager berating , cursing and threatening to evict a handicapped tenant who was complaining about a faulty refrigerator. NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - A Channel 4 I- Team investigation found the out-of-state landlord of a Nashville apartment complex earned $1,023,126 despite repeated code violations , including a caved-in ceiling and sewage leaks. Sheree McLaurin showed the Channel 4 I-Team photos of her ceiling caving in and the ripped-up kitchen floor in her apartment at the Riverchase Apartments complex in east Nashville . "It was horrible. It was horrible," McLaurin said. Danielle Nix also showed us photos of her old apartment at Riverchase, including how her ceiling was peeling apart and damage in her bathtub. Many refugees were among those told to leave their homes and given 30 days notice to find a new place to live in a city they were still unfamiliar with.
