One of the developers who wanted to build a multimillion- dollar bungalow - style resort hotel in Los Alamos said the project has been killed by the agricultural buffer required by the Santa Barbara County Planning and Development Department. Thomas and Matthew Ryan hoped to construct a hotel consisting of 44 bungalows and a main reception and registration building on a 2.1- acre site located at the west end of Bell Street behind the Welcome to Los Alamos sign . Thomas Ryan said he wasn’t building the hotel as a moneymaking project but as a business he and Matthew could retire to that would improve the community and economy of Los Alamos. The search continues for “Mike.”  We’re told officers are still searching for the 17-year-old who drove away with Knight from Will-O-Wood Blvd. That 17-year-old goes by “Mike.” As soon as Jackson Police release more information, we will let you know. (SHREVEPORT, LA) - Police are searching for a man believed responsible for a shooting that took place in the Queensborough neighborhood on Sunday morning . On August 13, just before 11:30 a.m., officers responded to Portland Avenue and Stonewall Avenue in reference to a shots fired call and crash.  Officers arrived and immediately determined that the two calls were related. They located a 2005 Nissan Altima crashed into a telephone pole near the intersection. Shell casings were located inside of the vehicle and in the roadway near the intersection. Violent Crimes Investigators were contacted and began their investigation. They learned through witness reports and information gathered at the scene that Laderrick Samuels, 21, of the 2700 block of Southern Avenue was the alleged shooter. WASHINGTON (Aug. 15, 2017) — The National Transportation Safety Board opened the public docket Monday as part of its ongoing investigation of the Aug. 10, 2016, apartment building explosion fueled by natural gas in Silver Spring, Maryland. The explosion and fire in a four- story apartment building , part of the Flower Branch apartment complex in Silver Spring, Maryland, resulted in seven fatalities and 65 civilians were transported to local medical facilities . MILWAUKEE --  Milwaukee police are investigating the homicide of a three-month-old baby boy that happened near the Glenbrook Apartments around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 30th. The victim has been identified as  Sean Flowers III . Robert Amstadt According to police, the baby's father became involved in a dispute with the baby's mother. The father took the baby from the house and walked into a nearby pond until he was submerged up to his chest.
