An armed man who reportedly forced his way into a Warner Robins apartment was shot dead early Sunday , according to police. At approximately 4 a.m. officers received a call of a home invasion with shots fired, said Warner Robins Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Parson . Police believe Cartrell Brooks, 24, forced his way inside the apartment armed with a gun and was shot, Parson said. Malandon West, 26, and James Alderson, 26, were inside the apartment. Parson said exactly what happened and who did the shooting is still being investigated. No one has been charged at this time, Parson said. The shooting happened at Lake Vista Apartments off North Lake Drive . Investigators were still on the scene there after noon Sunday. Brooks was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead . WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Police in Warner Robins are looking for clues to what happened in a home invasion turned homicide . A neighbor says this is the first time anything like this has happened in their complex. It happened in the Northlake Apartment Complex on North Lake Drive a little after 4:00 AM. One neighbor says he saw a man standing outside the building as he was entering his own home but didn’t think much of it. Officers believe that man was Cartrell Brooks,24, who was armed with a hand gun. He forced himself into the apartment of Malandon West, 26, and James Alderson, 26. When he finally entered he was met with a gun shot. He was then taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. State St., Suite 100) are preparing to launch a new Mediterranean " fast fine dining " restaurant called Aplos at Highland Village in early 2018. "Aplos is the Greek word for simple, and we plan to offer good, simple Mediterranean food ," O'Neill told the Jackson Free Press . "We're going to have salad, pizza, wraps and more, and all the meat will be slow-cooked on a rotisserie every day where people walking in can see it cooking. When I first wrote about the term in 2010, social media companies like YouTube and Facebook were beginning to use the term to describe their Web 2.0 services, to their users, to advertisers and investors, and to themselves. Now social media companies have embraced the term fully, extending it to services that broker the exchange not just of content or sociality but rides (Uber), apartments (Airbnb), and labor (TaskRabbit). The term so comfortably describes these services that critics and commentators can draw on it to extend out for the purposes of argument. A couple were airlifted to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas on Wednesday with major burns caused by a " flaming cocktail " at the Shoal Creek Tavern in The Shops at Highland Village . After the couple received the cocktail at the restaurant's bar, an "additional ignition" took place and caused major burns on their body from the waist up, according to Highland Village police spokeswoman Laurie Mullens . "We don't really have the exact details on what caused the additional ignition," Mullens said. "We just know that something caused it to reignite and burned the two people that had ordered the drink."  No one else was injured in the incident, and the bar was not damaged, she said.
