When me and my boyfriend needed a place quick Nathan was able to get us a place and approve us in 2 days!! The management really cares i would give 10 stars if i could!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. They don't even deserve 1 star. First of all, They took over 13 days to tell me that I had been approved for an apartment. They didn't even call me to let me know. I had to call them. Then the day I was going to go ahead and put down a holding deposit on an apartment, they had a fire the previous day which obviously means that their first priority is finding a temporary place in vacant apartments so I still did not know if I was actually going to get an apartment. The guy in the front office told me by the end of the day that they would call me and let me know if there would be an apartment for me after all. Low and behold I'm still waiting for that call 1 week later. DO NOT BOTHER APPLYING TO THIS PLACE. SAVE YOUR $$$$ AND APPLY TO ANOTHER COMPLEX TAHT WILL LET YOU KNOW IF YOU HAVE GOTTEN APPROVED OR NOT WITHIN 7 DAYS, NOT 2 WHOLE WEEKS.

Nathan is super professional and awesome! We had a little mix up but, they handled the situation in a professional matter. Thanks for everything!

Worst apartments, first off its completely roach infested, super ghetto music always playing extremly loud. Mold all over the bathroom not to mention they will find any reason to tow your car. Dont move in here absolutely horrific.

Management is great, always friendly and helpful. Whenever I needed assistance they promptly helped me. Apartments are very close to everything, such as the gym, grocery stores, the mall and plenty of restaurants.. as well as sac state.

This has absolutely been the worse experience. I regret to stopped and applied. The management are very unprofessional, disrespectful and don't know how to manage. They always make excuses to not make any needed changes to unit, but are so good are raising rental price. I have been mistreated and discriminated. The complex are in the worse condition, and 2 apartments had been on fire in the past 3 months. They never bother to even take some time to apologized to any tenants about what has happened. I feel sorry for the people who are still leaving there. And lastly, the general manager can't take any responsibility she always find excuses for herself and to blame it on others.

I've lived at Sterling Pointe Apartments for a few months. I came here from Fairfield, CA I enjoy staying here. It feels peaceful here. Quite too.

Horrible high rent no new upgrades in apartments other then a ceiling fan new management who wants to patronize renters when being late on the rent. Absolutely no parking gates are always broken mail rooms constantly getting broken into people stealing money and breaking soda machine. Ect. I absolutely HATE THIS PLACE they should really be audit to see were the money is going how can you go up on rent an not fix or replace anything this is the worst place to live in the Arden area wouldn't recommend to my enemies. And my car was vandalized did they care nope there so called security didn't even bother to file a report way to go top flight....

I have lived here for about two years now and I absolutely love it! John and Nate are always so kind and helpful. I definitely recommend living here. You won't regret it.

I just recently went threw a lease process with Nate and John and they went above and beyond to help me through every step of the process. They were extremely helpful and courteous I couldn't ask for better service.

worse apartment complex ever, management is never available and they never get anything fixed when they should. it takes them forever, theres cockroaches and black mold in my unit. I wish i could go back in time because i would not have applied here. I can't wait to get out of here.

Okay so I moved in this place being that it was low cost and near my new job. I had 2 days to relocate to my new job and this place was the most decent out of 4/5 other places I viewed. They did a thorough background which is funny as hell seeing the kind of tenants they have (half of which are dirty and will spit and leave trash right outside their own door. No indication of that when I was applying though)My immediate neighbors were loud. Everyone smokes which came into my apartment and ruined 1000s of dollars of clothes (which I spent $200 getting washed to move in my new place). But the icing on the cake was the roach in my dish drawer. I never lived with them and I never will. I caught it and brought it to my landlord and she couldn't even get the guys to come spray until the next week (they only come once a week on a Friday). I put in my months notice that day and moved out 3 weeks later. She told me I didn't need to pay the remainder of rent because she'll just take it out of my deposit. When I finally got my deposit back they gave me a $50 late fee for paying rent late. WTF! I was told not to. I should of did it since she is an incompetent landlord who by the way quit and now they act like they have no recollection of this ever happening. I was so glad to get out. The only thing good about that place was that I was on a month to month so I could get the heck up out of there!Keep in mind I'm from Oakland (deep east Oakland) and I thought this place was dirty. Plus this was my first place.

Lived here for just over a year. Don't be confused by the office when their hours say open till 6. They shut/lock the door at 5:30. Open on Saturdays but it was always hit or miss if the door was ever open on Saturday. There are constantly people hanging out in the parking lots drinking or blasting music. People usually digging through the dumpster in the mornings and dumpster areas are usually full and will have garbage start to pile on the ground. Parking gates rarely worked, at least gate 4. Was probably functional for a total of 2 months while I was there. Complex walk in gates also don't work. People bent in the screen so they can just reach around and push it open from the inside. This gate is right next to the office and has not been fixed for a long time. Saw the pool on the 2257 side locked numerous times. However, location is convenient with many stores and shops all close by. Rent was cheap, $700/mo for 1 bed 1 bath. So you can't expect too much. Saw cops at the complex about 4 times for whatever reasons. Saw a total of 2 small roaches while there. It gets very damp inside when cold, so watch for mold buildup around the windows. Document when you submit your 30 day notice. Put ours in on the first, took a picture of when we submitted it since the office was locked. When we get our security deposit back, they had charged us 4 days extra rent saying we didn't submit our notice till the 11th. Called them and said we have proof that we submitted on the first. Didn't apologize or anything but we did get our money back thankfully. Moved to a more expensive complex nearby and the so far much happier with the community and cleanliness! Definitely worth the extra money.

This has to be one of the worst living experiences of my life. Not only is the neighborhood ghetto but the complex is beyond ghetto. There are people yelling and screaming from the break of dawn till really late at night. There are kids running around screaming at the top of there lungs 99% of the time. There are people that just sit around all day the parking lot, made me feel uncomfortable I felt like I was always being watched. There's always drug deals going on in front of the gate that is ALWAYS broken. In the 8 months I lived here it worked for a subtotal of like a week. My car was broken into the first week we moved in and the management didn't care. It wasn't until the third time I was broken into that they gave me a number for their security guards so I could complain to them, cause that's totally my job. I had a homeless guy come to my door shoeless talking about hitting my car and putting a dent into it, he was trying to get me to come out of my apartment. HELL no. My AC went out in the beginning of July when the 100's started to strike. My AC was out for about a week. The lowest my apartment temperature was when the AC was out was 90. Those nights were the worst. The only solution they had, was they offered to give me a fan to put in my apartment. Yeah, smart should have thought of that. I only had three fans going at all times. We had cockroaches twice. The second time they refused to spray. This place got 1 star because I couldn't give zero. Stay away from here. It's NOT worth it. The management even new one (10/15/15 was when I moved out) beyond sucks, they don't care for you.

I have lived here for 8 years. It was alright when I first moved in but since changing managers a few years back around 2014 and raising rent this is not a comfortable place to live. First. Had someone peeking through daughters window. People sell drugs in here Rent has increased 40%. However upgrades and upkeep stays the same. When you need maintenance you basically have to bug them over and over for them to come out, and when maintenance does come out he half does work or speeds through it so that you have call the office for them to come back. The people who work in office makes whatever complaint or concern you have into a challenge instead of trying to understand the issue (for example no working A/C manager will bring to your attention that a/c is luxury. Instead of sending maintenance out to check what issue is.)The office doesn't work with you. They have this arms crossed attitude like what's done is done and sorry we could not be of any assistance. You can rent this place if you like but my suggestion is you find some where a little cheaper and one that will not raise rent over 400 dollars when lease is up. If you look on website rent for 3 bedroom can go up to $2300. Come on are you serious who would pay that much for apartments. O yea especially ones that have roaches. When they come to spray only spray one unit so waste of time
