1 man shot, 1 man stabbed at Royal Oak apartments, police say

ROYAL OAK, Mich. - One man was shot and another was stabbed about 2 p.m. Sunday at the Woodward North Apartments in Royal Oak, police said.

Police said the victims, who both suffered non-life-threatening injuries, may have known each other. They were taken to an area hospital.

No other details were immediately released.

An explosion and fire at an apartment building in South Pasadena Tuesday left a woman seriously injured, police said. Firefighters and police officers were sent to the 1700 block of Huntington Drive about 6:30 a.m., according to the Pasadena Police Department . The 12-unit complex was evacuated, and firefighters quickly extinguished the flames. The woman, who was not immediately identified, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.
