Cause of Silver Spring apartment explosion still unknown


SILVER SPRING — Federal investigators found a disconnected vent pipe in an apartment building that exploded last year, killing seven people and injuring dozens. But the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says the cause of the August 2016 explosion and fire in a D.C. suburb in Maryland remains undetermined.  One man was shot in the head and another received a gunshot wound to the hand during a shooting incident Wednesday night at Eagle Landing Apartments . TAMPA — Water Street Tampa, the sweeping, 50-plus acre redevelopment project in Tampa's urban core, has unveiled new images and video of what the downtown district will look like upon completion.
