Teen reports rape at Arbor Pointe Apartments

A 19-year-old woman reported she was raped Saturday in a unit at Arbor Pointe Apartments, according to a Columbus Police report.

The victim told police the rape occurred in an apartment living room between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. The report indicates the suspect is not a stranger to the victim, but no description of a suspect was available.

Explosion and fire in Pasadena: apartment building evacuated, woman seriously injured

An explosion and fire at an apartment building in South Pasadena Tuesday left a woman seriously injured, police said. Firefighters and police officers were sent to the 1700 block of Huntington Drive about 6:30 a.m., according to the Pasadena Police Department . The 12-unit complex was evacuated, and firefighters quickly extinguished the flames. The woman, who was not immediately identified, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.
