 One man was shot in the head and another received a gunshot wound to the hand during a shooting incident Wednesday night at Eagle Landing Apartments . Police have a man they said was responsible for the shootings in custody.      Ted William Bailey Jr ., 21, Eagle Landing Apartments , was first rushed to East Georgia Regional Medical Center , then flown by helicopter to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah for treatment of a gunshot wound to the head, said Statesboro Police Capt . Water Street Tampa unveils video showing downtown's transformation

TAMPA — Water Street Tampa, the sweeping, 50-plus acre redevelopment project in Tampa's urban core, has unveiled new images and video of what the downtown district will look like upon completion. Strategic Property Partners , the real estate firm backed by Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik and Bill Gates' Cascade Investment, hired more than a dozen architect and design firms to create the aesthetics of the Water Street Tampa district . Eagle's Landing provides transitional housing for homeless veterans

(Jo Anne McKnight/Press-Register correspondent)   Eagle's Landing is a 36- unit transitional housing community with supportive services to meet the unique needs of homeless veterans who served in the active military and now find themselves sleeping in shelters or various places not designed for human habitation.  The goal of the Eagle's Landing project is to provide services and housing for up to two years to assist in reintegrating veterans into meaningful employment through their participation in employment training and educational enhancements. Medical and dental care will be available, as will be counseling and other services to help the returning vets build self-esteem and confidence.
