Des Plaines Truck Company 83 at Forest Cove Apartments balcony fire.

Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:40 a.m. Saturday to a report of a balcony on fire at 1729 Forest Cove, Mount Prospect. Firefighters arrived to find fire on the third floor balcony and declared a working fire and request additional response from mutual aid communities. The fire was out by 12:55 a.m. Saturday.

Firefighters from Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Elk Grove Township, Prospect Heights, Rolling Meadows and others assisted Mount Prospect firefighters.
