Scott Sutton lists Bellevue Hill home
SUTTON car dealership executive Scott Sutton has listed his luxury Bellevue Hill home.
Sutton, an heir to the Suttons Holden fortune, paid $5.3 million for the home in 2015.
The home — which began as a 1960s Harry Seidler designed abode — has hit the market through Raine & Horne Double Bay daughter-mother sales team Denise and Gillian Cameron.
No word on his plans after the September 7 auction.
While a classic modern home in style, architect Harry Seidler is said to have abandoned the project as the original client kept changing his mind.
The Bennelong Crescent home comes with a modernist refurbishment enhancing the harbour views across to Manly from its three levels.
The home with double-brick and concrete slab construction has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a self-contained apartment.
Wide alfresco terraces flow to the landscaped gardens and heated pool.
Sutton recently sold a nearby Cranbrook Road building block parcel for $6 million to hedge fund boss Russell Aboud and his wife Lucinda.
He had approved plans for an Xpace Design home with pool on the 845 sqm parcel that cost him $4.2 million in 2014.
Sutton has quietly got on with family business in recent times, a far cry from 2005 when he was splashed across the social pages when he was dating his former girlfriend, model MichelleLeslie.
Bellevue Hill is a hive of sales activity.
Finance entrepreneurClive Isenberg, the managing director of Octet Group, and wife Jennifer have just settled on a $6,025,000 Victoria Road home.
And developer Peter Zhu is the rumoured buyer of a recent $5.5 million off-market listing through Raine & Horne agent Patrick Cosgrove.
