The legislationproposed by Mayor Ed Murray would allow developers to build higher in the neighborhood that wraps around Seattle Center and that is also known as Lower Queen Anne . Our biggest struggle when planning our trip to NYC was where we were going to stay. My family and I were on a budget and some of the hotels were definitely budget busters. However, my mom discovered this gem, about a block from Radio City (the tree, the rink, etc). It's not an extravagant hotel, but it's nice enough. The location and price of it well exceeded some of the negatives associated with this hotel (it's old, small). In fact, in each apartment, there was a full service kitchen , which helped a great deal when an unexpected snow storm hit the city! It's about 2 blocks from Times Square; 1 block from Radio City; 2 blocks from 5th Avenue. The subway station is on the end of the block! Altogether, PERFECT! We will definitely be staying here again!

Tacoma, Wash.—Walker & Dunlop has provided $27.4 million in financing for three multifamily properties near Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington. The assets are comprised of 384 units with military concentrations ranging from approximately 20 to more than 60 percent. Walker & Dunlop Senior Vice President Allan Edelson led the Walker & Dunlop team on the transactions. Legendary artist Banksy looks to have 'hit back' at thieves who stripped one of his artworks from a city centre street in the best possible way. The mystery painter seems to have created a mural in Liverpool after one of his original paintings was stripped from close to the newly painted Liver Bird Wings . It includes a monkey alongside the statement "you can rob a bank and get away with 10 grand and serve 8 years or you can rob a Banksy and get away with a 100 grand and serve Caviar". LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A woman was arrested after she apparently overdosed in an apartment so filthy that it was unfit for her two young children, police said. Ebony Frederick, 33, is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Lancaster police said they were called to the apartment in the 100 block of East King Street on Aug. 7 to assist EMS with a sick person call . Frederick was unresponsive and the officers discovered the medical issue was an apparent overdose. The efficiency apartment was unfit for human habitation. The floor was covered in bodily fluids, feces and vomit, and soiled diapers were on a bed and in dresser drawers, police said in a news release. The children, ages 3 and 10 months, were unattended in a bathtub that had been filled with enough water to pose a threat to them, and both showed physical signs of neglect, police said. Deputies at the scene of an apartment compelx where a newborn baby was reportedly found in the bushes. HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A newborn baby girl is receiving medical attention after being found alone and covered in ants at an apartment complex in north Houston. According to the Harris County Sheriff 's Office, deputies responded to The Bridges of Cypress Creek apartment complex on Red Oak Drive early Thursday morning . A man who lives in the complex told deputies around 5 a.m., he heard a baby girl crying and at first thought it was a toy. When the man realized the baby was alive, he took the child home and called police. Deputies say the newborn was less than an hour old.  KHOU 11 spoke to the man who discovered the infant and saved her life. Two apartments in the same building were burglarized overnight while the residents were away, Pittsfield Township police say. The break-ins occurred in the 2000 block of Arbor Circle West in Arbor Pointe Apartments . Officers were called to one apartment at 2:38 a.m., where the apartment door was forced open to gain entry, reports said. They discovered another apartment door also had been forced. No one was home at either residence when the break-ins occurred, likely sometime during the late evening or early morning hours , reports said.
