August 22, 2017 30 Magnolia units sell for $12.6M SEATTLE — The Marinwood Apartments, at 3628 24th Pl. W. in Magnolia, have sold for $12.6 million, according to King County records . The seller was Columbia Partners Business Park LLC , which acquired the property in 2015 for $8.2 million. The buyer was Mag 31 LLC, which is associated with private investors listing an address in Entiat. Developed in 1980 on about three-quarters of an acre, the Marinwood is a four-story building with 30 units. The average unit size for the view property is quite large: about 1,119 square feet, according to King County. The building has covered parking for 30 vehicles. Brokers were not announced. The deal was worth about $416,763 per unit.

I was expecting a normal room and that is what it might be called but it had a mini kitchen. I had a microwave, small oven, set of 3 dishes, some pots and pans, and a small fridge. Adequate for the 3 days I was there. I could have easily had all 3 meals in the room if I had wanted. It was located in an area that was in the middle of the hustle and bustle of New York. Walking distance of many places including the theater district. There was a small courtyard that I could see from our room. It was clean. Staff was helpful. I would use the hotel again. The worst apartments we have ever stayed at. Dirty, bad shower fittings , which fell on me giving me a black eye, old furniture, falling apart, with nails sticking out, dangerous electric fittings , socket stuck on with sellotape. After a change of apartment, slightly better than the first, we still needed to mop the filthy floor before we unpacked as we had to do in the first apartment, which was just as filthy. Worst was to come when we realised we were directly under an apartment that was having a total refurbishment, the noise was horrendous, from 8am until 6pm, no such thing as siesta time, it was just so awful, management didn't want to know, they denied any building work was going on above us,, the only positive thing was the location and view. REXBURG — Hemming Village announced today the women’s housing complex previously known as The Willows will become men’s housing starting in January 2018. The complex will be renamed The Cedars and will be the male housing counterpart of the newly rebuilt Cedars women ’s apartment complex across the street. The change was made public at an event held at The Willows apartment complex called “Rock The Willows.” Advertisement A spokeswoman for Hemming Village told the Standard Journal that the decision was made in an effort to “create more of a community environment” that would be advantageous to both male and female tenants. “We saw a situation and decided to make a change to benefit the surrounding community,” she said. “It’s more about creating a fun atmosphere at BYU-I and Hemming Village .
