Tropical storm watch issued for parts of coastal Carolinas
ANDERSON CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A man is dead after a stabbing that happened on Robinson Street in Pendleton.
The stabbing happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
The victim has been identified as 49-year-old Charles Hillery of New York.
Hillery was pronounced dead at the scene at about 2:52 a.m., the coroner’s office says.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating.
Hillery and an unknown subject got into an altercation in front of a home in the 200 block of Robinson Street, according to an incident report from the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy found Hillery unconscious and lying on his back in the living room with injuries to his chest and head.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that four people have been charged with murder and criminal conspiracy, and a juvenile is sought in connection to Hillery’s stabbing death.
