Deluxe Suite tour at the Four Seasons Tokyo at Marunouchi

Amidst the crazy energy of Tokyo, right in the heart of the city next to Tokyo Station, Four Seasons has a beautiful boutique luxury hotel. I say boutique because the Four Seasons Tokyo at Marunouchi as it's known, (Marunouchi is the name of the neighborhood) only has 57 rooms and suites. That makes it the smallest Four Seasons property in the world. The small size means the guest-to-staff ratio is quite high and that warm, personal service makes you feel like you're in your own luxurious Tokyo apartment.

Here's a tour of one of the luxury hotel's Deluxe One-Bedroom Suites, a trainspotter's dream with views over Tokyo Station and its arriving and departing bullet trains.

The Deluxe Suites, located on the corners of the building, offer sweeping vistas of downtown Tokyo, even from the bathtub.

Aside from the luxurious rooms and suites, I must mention the hotel's excellent dining spot, MOTIF. The French restaurant, run by Chef Hiroyuki Asano and culinarily overseen by Chef Hiroshi Nakamichi, whose French restaurant in Sapporo has three Michelin stars, has a unique Franco-Asian blend. Classic and modern French recipes are interpreted with an Asian feel using fresh products from around Japan. Embracing the farm-to-table concept, products and provisions are sourced from individual farmers and providers around Japan.
