Construction is set to begin at SunStone Apartment Homes at Fox Ridge Plaza , a 228-unit complex on Maize Road south of the southeast corner of 37th and Maize Road. This is the second SunStone apartment project for Vantage Point Properties president Paul Jackson . “They’ve been very well received in Andover,” Jackson says of the 208 units he built there last year. The west-side apartments will kick off the new Fox Ridge Plaza , a 25- acre commercial development that Schellenberg Development and Birds Eye Holdings are building. “We look for locations in the strongest school districts , and that Maize school district is very, very good,” Jackson says. "We actually have a Windridge I and Windridge II, and there are 58 apartments for those two projects, and they are completely occupied with a waiting list," said co- owner Cathy Mesner of Central City.
