Bay breezes cool Quonset huts and waterfront estates alike in North Kingstown

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. — This little place between Wickford Village and the Quonset Business Park covers three neighborhoods and two developments, and among them are a wide variety of housing types. The land that can be reached from Post Road by Camp Avenue has the neighborhoods of Wickford Point and Shore Acres, as well as the Mill Creek Townhouses , the Cedarhurst condominiums and the owner-occupied, affordable, Asqah cooperative. There are plenty of single- family houses ranging in size from tiny to expansive, a few duplexes and even three Quonset huts built in 1942 that are 528- or 657-square-foot "cottages."
